Orthodontist
Dr. Jonathan Beroukhim, DDS
Dr. Jonathan Beroukhim is a board certified orthodontist. He began his journey of becoming an orthodontist at UCLA, where he excelled in biology and fine arts. He received his B.S degree after majoring in Physiological Sciences. He later pursued his doctorate of dental surgery degree from New York University where he focused on patient care, craniofacial anomaly research, and public health advocacy. His passion for the art and esthetics of dentistry then led him toward a residency in the specialty of orthodontics and dento-facial orthopedics at New York University. Throughout his education he has been an avid lecturer and teacher for dental students and colleagues; his passion for education is something that he carries with him to this day. He strives to further the field with research and master the best and newest technology in orthodontics.
Dr. Beroukhim enjoys transforming children’s smiles at a critical age in their lives and helping adults realize an often long-awaited dream of a more beautiful, functional smile. He has true compassion for his patients’ needs and enjoys the connections he creates with them during their orthodontic journey. He handles his patient’s concerns with sensitivity and values communication throughout the entire process. He is humbled and privileged to serve his patient’s and provide excellence in orthodontic care for them.
Dr. Beroukhim is a Los Angeles native. His passion for orthodontics comes from his own orthodontic experience as a teenager and the confidence and joy that came along with his transformed smile. He believes in giving back to the community that gave him so much and made him who he is today. When he’s not at the office, he enjoys being with his family, playing tennis, cooking, and traveling.
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Katayoun Tajik, DDS
Dr. Katayoun Tajik graduated from New York University in 2021 where she completed a board-certified honors program in Pediatric Dentistry and Special Needs. She’s a member of the ADA and brings a wealth of knowledge in the latest advances and practices in dentistry. She hails from a family of dentists and infuses fun into her own daily practice by encouraging her patients to floss between their teeth and on the dance floor. She loves olives on her pizza and playing her favorite board game Backgammon with her husband, who happens to be from Canada. So, when they’re not in Southern California, you can find them enjoying all the seasons in Whistler, British Columbia.
General & Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Amirpasha Farnaghi, DDS
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Farsi, Dr. Amirpasha Farnaghi looks to provide high-quality dental care. He earned his dental degree from New York University. After that, he completed two general residency programs, one at Housing Works and another in endodontics at the NYU College of dentistry. Dr. Farnaghi believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health. He looks forward to working with his patients to help provide preventative care education and practice healthy oral hygiene. An active member of the New York State Dental Association, Canada’s Royal College of Dentistry, and the American Dental Association, Dr. Farnaghi tries to stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry to provide suitable treatment options to his patients. In addition to his clinical career, his hobbies are playing sports, reading, and traveling.
